Vellum Sunflowers

Welcome to my second post for Inspiration Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations.  This time I have a card featuring vellum Classic Sunflowers and the new Pocket Accents dies with the Frame a Card dies.  I love this combination of cream and gold and these dies go so well together.

Materials Used:

HCPC-3626 Classic Sunflowers stamp

HCD1-753 Classic Sunflower Die

HCPC-3656 Delightful Daisies Stamp set

HCD1-780 Delightful Daisies Die set

HCPC-3811 Rainboots and Blossoms Stamp set

HCD1-7169 Rainboots and Blossoms Die set

HCPC-3846 Thank You Sentiment Stamp set

Gold Mirror cardstock, iCraft Gold Party Balls, iCraft Crystal Beads, Distress Oxide inks – Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral, Versamark ink, Creative Expressions Pearl Ivory Cardstock, Prisma glitter, Foam tape

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card 5” x 7”.  Cut a piece of Pearl Ivory cardstock 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Die cut the inner and outer frame from the HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirls Frames Die from gold mirror card.  Adhere the outer frame to the base card with foam tape and the inner frame with Dries Clear glue.  Die cut the pocket accent die from the HCD1-7213 Elegant Pocket Accents Die set and adhere to the top of the card as shown with foam tape.

Die cut the outer eyelet label die from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags & Accents Die set from gold mirror cardstock.  Stamp the image from the HCPC-3846 Thank You Sentiment Stamp set in Versamark ink on Pearl Ivory cardstock and die cut with the inner die from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags & Accents Die set.  Adhere to the outer frame and adhere to the base card as shown.

Stamp the sunflower images from the HCPC-3626 Classic Sunflowers stamp set using Versamark ink on the vellum.  Colour the back of the images with the Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral inks and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape the flowers with a paintbrush or similar and assemble.  Add Prisma glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and the gold party balls to the centre of the flowers.  Adhere to the card around the left of the label as shown.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3656 Delightful Daisies Stamp set in Library Green ink on Super White cardstock.  Colour with Leaf Green and Fern Green inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape using the golf tools and when dry add Prisma glitter with Dries Clear glue.  Trim and adhere around the flowers as shown.

Stamp the leaf image from the HCPC-3811 Rainboots and Blossoms Stamp set in Fern Green ink on Super White card and colour with Leaf Green.  Die cut with the coordinating die, shape, trim and adhere around the flowers as shown.

Stamp the dandelion images from the HCPC-3811 Rainboots and Blossoms Stamp set in Olive Green ink on Super White cardstock.  Colour in with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Add Crystal Beads to the heads of the flowers with Dries Clear glue and when dry add around the flowers and leaves as shown.
