I am now feeling a lot better now after some heavy duty hospital treatment (thank you for your kind words) and I have now got my new toy – a Fiskars Creativity Fuse System that embossess and die cuts together. I am very happy with it as it is die cutting so much better than my little old cuttlebug. Plus it also embosses in the one roll which saves me turning the dies over and re doing them. I won’t retire the cuttelbug yet as it is still useful to have it for simple jobs. I noticed that when I emboss now with the new machine that there is minimal distortion compared to what I was getting.
Today I have a couple of cards that I have made using my new dies and machine. I love the effect of white on white cards using different textures and finishes.
First up is a wedding card made from CTMH White Daisy cardstock. I have used a variety of products here from Heartfelt Creations Ariana Blooms to Spellbinders Dies and CTMH embossing folders and stamps. It was amazing the difference it made when I put the embossing panel on the back of the card. I embossed the die for the frame and then cut the frame out to add more dimension to the card.
Cardstock – CTMH White Daisy
Stamps – CTMH The Happy Couple, Just a Note
Inks – Versamark
Ranger Silver Embossing Ink
CTMH Embossing folder – Damask
Dies – Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eighteen, Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, Heartfelt Creations Ariana Blooms stamp and die set
Ribbon from my stash
Here is another card that I have made with the Timeless Rectangle die. This time I have kept the card simple and used another beautiful die I have had for a while on the front. I couldn’t decide where to put the sentiment on the front and so I put it in the middle of the card instead. The photo does not really do the card justice unfortunately.
Cardstock – CTHM White Daisy
Stamp – CTMH Framed (NLA)
Ink – CTMH Black
CTMH embossing folder Dots
CTMH – clear sparkles
Dies – Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles, Die-versions Butterfly Flourish

As usual these cards will be available for sale at Gift Hutt.
I am very excited to be able to stock Heartfelt Creations products in Gift Hutt and will be looking forward to having classes there using their amazing papers, stamps and dies. So watch this space…
Have a good week and Happy Crafting
