Spellbinders frames

Welcome back.

I apologise for being missing in action but I have had a very busy few weeks and just haven’t had much chance to do much crafting.  My house is on the market and I am not allowed to make a mess!!!  Never mind I am hopeful that I can get back into crafting soon and I have a new die cutting machine coming so I can’t wait to use that.  Watch this space….

I have managed to make some cards though before I had to pack my supplies away and here is one card that I have made using some flowers and leaves from my stash that I bought many years ago.  I have been playing around with some Spellbinders dies and embossing folders and tried to do double embossing as demonstrated here, but my poor overworked Cuttlebug did not like it.  So I ended up doing another frame to go under the frame.  My embossing ended up a little flat so I added these beautiful flowers to cover them.  The sentiment is from CTMH Framed.  I found the inner frame looked a little naked so I added some pearls from my stash.

Love the card. What an awesome idea to stagger and layer the Spellbinder frames. Definitely going to try this in the future.
I’m looking for a new embossing machine too, just can’t decide. What kind did you order? I’d be interested to know why you decided on the one you did? Keep those card ideas coming.

    1. Hi Donna – thank you for the lovely comment. I ended up getting the Fiskars Fuse Creativity System second hand. I did some research on Amazon for feedback about various machines and I was also limited to what machines were available in New Zealand. I would love to know which one you get.
