Welcome back
I would like to wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day and I hope that you all had a good day.
This week I have been playing with Lollydoodle papers which I love because there is PINK in the papers. Plus I won some White Marquee Enamel shapes and wanted to show my upline how I would use them. This paper pack is gorgeous and so versatile that while most of the cards are feminine I have changed the colour way and make them more masculine.
Here they are:
I love the simplicity of this card. The flower has been cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge (page 50) in three different sizes and then I have sponged the edges with Cotton Candy ink. The centre and leaf has been cut out of the patterned paper and finished off with a Flamingo dot. I have stamped the sentiment with Pear ink first on White Daisy cardstock and then placed the enamel shape over it and then trimmed around the edge. This was then adhered to the card. I love how it pops the sentiment out of the background paper.
This card happened by accident. The grey trim on either side of the spotty paper is actually part of the patterned paper and I just happened to put the paper against the grey and it looked just like a rope edge and I was able to trim it to fit. I have also used Topiary ribbon as a trim.
Once again I had to use this pattern from Make it From Your Heart Volume 2. I am getting to know this pattern very well and was able to make it without the book in front of me. I have used the enamel shapes on pink glitter card to add some impact. The sentiment has been fussy cut out and placed on Pear cardstock and then matted onto Cotton Candy.
This is a very simple card and I have placed the heart marque shape onto spare pink patterned paper and trimmed around the edge. I then placed it onto the pink strip of paper and it looks like a buckle. I am still enjoying using the SOTM set – You’ve Got a Friend’
Here is another flower using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I have teamed it up with some bling with pink glitter cardstock and some Sparkles – Flourish. The Thank You is from the New Zealands Greetings stamp set.
This is a different coloured card yet using the Lollydoodle paper. I have gone with the Juniper and Slate colours and used Juniper and Slate ink for the sentiment. I have added a pop of Cotton Candy for a lift and finished off with Aqua dots.
I used the pattern from Make it From Your Heart Volume 1 page 46 and I have used the marquee shapes on pink patterned paper to add some oomph to the card. The Juniper spots on the left provide some relief from the overall pink scheme.
Materials used:
Cardstock – Cotton Candy, White Daisy, Juniper, Slate, Pink Glitter
Inks – Cotton Candy, Juniper, Slate
Stamps – You’ve Got a Friend in Me, For a Friend, New Zealand Greetings
Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge
I hope that you have enjoyed my cards as much as I had in making them.
Have a good week.
Happy Crafting.
Patricia
These are so pretty, Patricia. I especially like the first one. Thanks for the tip of layering three flowers. That looks great!

Thank you for the visit and the lovely comment Evelyn. I hope you use the flower and I look forward to seeing what you can do with it. 🙂
Great job, love all your cards! and I especially like how you created the triple-layer flower with inked edges.
Thank you for the lovely comment. 🙂
I love the way you’ve drawn our different colours in the papers by changing the cardstock you use with the prints.
Thank you for the visit Shaunna. CTMH make it so easy to mix and match papers and cardstock. 🙂
Oh my Patricia! Love the colours! The pink go so well with the green – such exquisite colouring! Thanks for sharing hon. 😀 ♥ Hugs ♥
